Circumpolar Opportunities

Although Asuilaak - The Living Dictionary was developed for Nunavut, there is potential to apply the multilingual technology and experience to the use of Inuktitut in a Cicumpolar context.  The potential for information sharing among Inuktitut speakers is highly significant.  The following paper provides a "vision" of how that might work

Framework for Language Development

The one page diagram illustrates the evolutionary development required to allow an originally oral language such as Inuktitut to evolve into a fully "Internet capable"  language.  It illustrates the key role played by the Inuktitut Morphological Analyzer in this evolution.
